Sean Danielson signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2005. During his stint with the Cardinals, Danielson was most known for breaking a franchise record by stealing 6 bases in a single game. During his 6 year career, Danielson made two all-star teams, averaged 20+ stolen bases a season, and was known as a big league defender with over 60 outfield assists.

Mark Quinn

Mark Quinn is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and right-handed batter who played for the Kansas City Royals. Quinn was drafted in the 11th round of the 1995 Amateur Draft after playing two seasons for the Rice University Owls. In 1995 he was voted to the ALL American team and was named the Rice Owls team MVP. On the 1995 team he was teammates with Lance Berkman and Jose Cruz Jr. In October of 2007 Mark was inducted into the Rice University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Randy Brown
Hitting
Randy played at San Jacinto Junior College where he was a two time All-Conference player, two time National Champion, and NJCAA World Series MVP. He committed to Florida State but opted instead to sign with the Boston Red Sox when drafted out of San Jac in 1990. Traded to the New York Yankees in 1997 and then to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1998, Randy played 10 years professionally. Randy has coached in the Houston area for several years where he also has an extensive personal instruction resume.

Cory Van Allen

A Sugar Land native, Cory was drafted in the 3rd round (91 st overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers his senior year at Clements high school. Cory opted to play college baseball instead at Baylor University. As a pitcher at Baylor Cory notched himself a no-hitter his first collegiate outing, received National Player of the Week honors, and was a part of the 2005 College World Series weekend rotation. After his junior year, the Washington Nationals drafted Cory in the 5th round. During his 10-year professional career, Cory won multiple MILB championships, played in the Arizona Fall League “Rising Stars” game, and reached as high as the AAA level. Following his professional career, Cory went on to be a member of the University of Houston coaching staff for 4 years.

MARK MACHALEC

Mark is an Alief Hastings High School graduate where he a two time district MVP and Texas High School All-Star. He played collegiately at Rice University where he as a four starter and All-Southwest Conference Player. Mark was drafted by the Seattle Mariners and he played professionally for three years. He later won back to back state championships as the head coach at St. Pius X High School in Houston. He was named Houston area High School Coach of the Year both years. He also spent one year as an assitant coach at Rice University. Mark is the owner of Texas Baseball Academy and has trained hundreds of college and professional players

DAN DEYOUNG
Pitching
Dan was born and raised in the State of Iowa. His senior year he led his high school baseball team to a state title and was named the state Player of the Year. His senior year, he was named one of the Top-5 athletes in the State of Iowa, after which he was drafted by the New York Yankees. He passed up professional baseball to enroll at Ole Miss where he was a three-year letterman for the Rebels. After his junior year at Ole Miss, he was selected in the 6th round of the MLB draft by the Texas Rangers. He also played for the Florida Marlins after being traded in his second pro year.

Robert Jackman

Robert’s focus on baseball instruction combines quality baseball experience with life coaching skills as a spiritual leader. Over the past 13 years of professional instruction, many of his players have gone on to play collegiate baseball and beyond. He serves as a Campus Pastor for The Fellowship in Katy, Tx and consults with baseball and softball organizations on how to develop players physically, emotionally, and spiritually believing they are mutually inclusive elements of the athlete.

Scott Moore

Scott played 2 years at Wharton County Junior College where he was selected as a JUCO All American, South Region Pitcher of the year, Conference Pitcher of the year and 1st Team All Conference in 2004. After transferring to Texas State University where he played 2 years, he was chosen as 1st Team All Conference after the 2006 season. After completing his college career, he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 23rd Round of the 2006 draft. He was selected as a top 50 prospect in the organization after the 2006 season and was a Midwest League All Star in 2007. He finished his playing career in 2011 and started coaching in 2013. He is a coach for both the youth program and high school program, and also is a coach at Episcopal High School.

Richie Beard

Richie is a former college and professional player. After college he played in the Texas Rangers organization, the St. Louis Cardinals organization, and with several independent teams. Richie has taken part in over 30,000 hours of instruction and on the field training during that time period. Likewise, Richie has taken part in thousands of hours of video analysis and research relating to hitting and pitching. Richie designed and developed the “sport specific” training program for pitchers that has proven to dramatically increase velocity, control, mechanics, strength levels, flexibility, range of motion, and overall performance.

Jim Holt

Jim is a former college and professional player. He played his college career at Pepperdine University , where he also obtained a degree in teaching with an endorsement in coaching baseball. Following his college career he played professionally with the Cincinnati Reds organization. Jim has also served as an assistant coach at Pepperdine University and coached many youth league teams. Jim has had tremendous success with his fundamental approach to hitting where he emphasizes biomechanical principals and not a specific “style” hitting. He is currently working with Hardball Academy to develop coaching and training videos.
